It is with heavy hearts that we deeply mourn and formally announce the poignant passing of Mian Jan Mohammad Javaid, a distinguished luminary who served as the revered President of The World’s Poultry Science Association – Pakistan Branch and CE Jadeed Group of Companies Pakistan. On the sorrow-laden day of August 13, 2023, the country lost an eminent figure who dedicated his life to the advancement of poultry science and the betterment of the Pakistan Poultry Industry.
Mian Jan Mohammad Javaid’s unwavering commitment and unparalleled leadership have left an indelible mark on both the academic and industrial facets of poultry science. As an embodiment of dedication and vision, he tirelessly steered the Pakistan Branch of WPSA, elevating it to new heights of excellence. His efforts in fostering collaboration, disseminating knowledge, and driving innovation have profoundly impacted not only the poultry industry but also the broader sphere of agriculture.
Tragically, on a fateful morning walk in his ancestral city of Khanewal, Mian Jan Mohammad Javaid was beset by a heart attack, an unforeseen event that has cast a pall of sorrow over the entire poultry community. The void left by his untimely departure is immeasurable, as his wisdom, guidance, and dynamic leadership were instrumental in shaping the trajectory of poultry science research, education, and sustainable practices in Pakistan.
The reverberations of Mian Jan Mohammad Javaid’s legacy will continue to resonate within the poultry community and beyond, inspiring future generations to uphold his values of excellence, collaboration, and dedication.
