WPSA Programmes

  • The Italian Branch of WPSA is delighted to communicate that new board for the term 2024-2026 has been elected during the general assembly held in Rimini on May 10th. Massimiliano Petracci is the new President, succeeding Martino Cassandro who served in the role since 2015. Federico Sirri will serve as secretary/treasurer and Stefano Paolo Marelli was elected new Board member. The other members have been confirmed for another term. (Italy)
  • The UK branch of WPSA held its annual spring meeting in Belfast in April, where over 50 participants joined us, and a number of students benefitted from UK branch awards to attend. The summer newsletter, which contains more details, will be available from the end of June at our website.

  • During the PSA Annual meeting in Louisville, Kentucky USA, Dr. Michael Kidd from the University of Arkansas will give the WPSA Lecture on Monday, July 15 at 8:30 AM. Title of the lecture is Global challenges in poultry nutrition.

  • The Italian Branch of WPSA has organized the 57th edition of its annual meeting which was held on May 10th at the Rimini Fair and it dealt with “Italian poultry and rabbit industry: sustainability and transferability of knowledge across the world”. Presentations of the lectures are available on the following webpage. (Italy)

  • The 2024 meeting of IFRG (Incubation and Fertility Research Group, WPSA’s Working Group No. 6) will be held in Antalya, Türkiye, October 3-4, 2024. Abstract submission and registration are now open! Please follow the link.
  • The Croatia branch of WPSA wil organize the Egg&Meat2025 symposium in Zadar, Croatia, 14-17 September 2025
