FAO has partnered with Cirad for the CaSSECS project and as a member of the Science Committee.
As part of this project, Cirad will be providing a specialist in evaluation of greenhouse gas emissions from pastoral and agropastoral systems to FAO's Animal Production and Genetics Branch (NSAG), for 2 years, in order to support FAO's contribution to the project.
This position is part of Cirad and FAO's joint efforts to improve data quality and provide a clearer picture of the impact that livestock farming has on the environment in pastoral areas.
