Register to learn how salmonella infections can be controlled with a robust monitoring and vaccination program for breeders, layers, and broilers.

Understanding Salmonellosis is difficult and managing Salmonella is a major challenge for the food production industry. Efforts must be focused on better understanding Salmonellosis and managing Salmonella during poultry processing. All potential contamination sources of Salmonella infection into the poultry production cycle should be prevented through a well-developed monitoring program at the feed mill and at the hatchery. It is well documented that many animals – including chickens – can harbor the bacteria without becoming sick. Presentation will be given by Dr. Stephane Lemiere, global head of veterinary services (avian), Boehringer Ingelheim and Christiaan ter Veen, DVM, MAHM.

This webinar will broadcast at 7:00 AM CDT (Chicago) / 1:00 PM BST (London) / 8:00 PM CST (Beijing)

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

  1. Salmonella infections can be controlled with a robust monitoring and vaccination program for breeders, layers, and broilers.
  2. Biosecurity and pest control programs are an effective way to reduce the burden and effectively control Salmonella infections in poultry flocks.
