Raising Coturnix quail for egg production

Just as there are chickens for egg production and chickens for meat production, there are strains of Coturnix quail (also known as Japanese Quail) for meat production and strains for egg production. Quail eggs are quite a delicacy and favored by the Asian market. Brett Kreifels from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln will discuss raising Coturnix quail for egg production.
