On the 15th of October 2015, the UK branch hosted a roundtable meeting of WPSA Working Group Number 1: Economics and Marketing in Cambridge. The meeting was organised by Peter van Horne, of The Netherlands’ WPSA Branch, and provided a fantastic opportunity for information exchange between countries.
The meeting highlighted the importance of understanding the operational basis of the poultry sector and, in particular, regional variation. Some level of knowledge in this area, offers a solid foundation for anyone hoping to serve the sector through their science or commerce.
