The German Branch continues to grow and it currently has 409 members, of which 39 are students.
The branch’s professional excursion for 2015 led 25 participants to Uzbekistan. Besides seeing beautiful landscapes and the interesting cultural treasures of this country, participants also found out about the capacity and efficiency of the Uzbekistan’s poultry industry.
The German Branch will hold its next annual meeting from 15-16 of March, 2016 in Köthen (Anhalt) and we are looking forward to an interesting programme. Further information will be available in January on our website www.wpsa.de.
The German Branch will support young scientists with travel grants to participate at WPC2016 in Beijing, PRC.
