SUMMARY:Combined workshop of WG 6 – Incubation and Fertility Research Group (IFRG) and WG 12 – Physiology
DESCRIPTION:We are happy to announce that there will be a Combined Workshop between the EF WPSA Working groups (WG)6 – IFRG and WG12- Physiology  in Berlin from October 22-24\, 2025. Host of the Combined Workshop is the Institute for Agricultural and Urban Ecological Projects (IASP) at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin We are busy with the preparations for this event and the registration will be opened in February. \nWe want to provide you with a diverse program covering different topics related to field and basic science on avian species physiology\, fertility and incubation. During our Combined Workshop\, we will pay special attention to the 50th anniversary of the WG6-IFRG\, where we want to look back at all the successful meetings we had at several different locations throughout Europe in the past and want to look forward to the fruitful events we would like to organize.. \nJust like previous years\, we want to encourage young scientist to join our Combined Workshop\, share their research findings and be inspired and connected to  other people working within the field of physiology\, fertility and incubation. Therefore\, we continue with the NextGen funding that was introduced last year\, at the WG6-IFRG meeting where young scientists can apply for the registration fee to be paid. Furthermore\, young scientists can participate in the Nick French Prize competition that is awarded to the best research and presentation. We are grateful for Aviagen’s continued sponsorship for the Nick French Prize. \nContact: Barbara Tzschentke: Ba****************@**********in.de / Dr Roos Molenaar: pr*******@**rg.be \nWebsite: https://www.ifrg.be/combined-workshop-2025
