GP Specialist, Cobb Europe
From a young age Gabor was always interested in agriculture, especially the livestock side of it. After he obtained a Masters of Agriculture Sciences at the University of West Hungary he joined G.W. Padley Poultry Ltd in 2006 as a farm assistant and within a year he was promoted to breeder layer farm manager. In 2012 his duties expanded to help design and take care of the full management of a brand new breeder layer farm.
After some time abroad providing general consulting and overseeing a poultry project in UAE, he returned to the UK as an agriculture manager at G.W. Padley Poultry Ltd. Here he was responsible for several Cobb GP and GGP operations, teams and processes to deliver results while realising genetic, financial and business objectives.
He joined Cobb Europe Ltd in 2017, becoming area manager then later progressed to production manager covering all operational components and implementation of the business strategic plans for the Northern farms.
He spent much of his career working in poultry and during this time has built up an extensive knowledge base across a broad range of areas and got a unique perspective across the business. In addition to his experience and personal qualities, he has a solid educational foundation and along with a Masters of Agricultural Sciences holds further poultry related qualifications.
With more than 15 years of operational and leadership experience he has recently moved to the GP Technical team as a GP Specialist, offering a blend of skill sets, knowledge and additional strengths to support the EMEA region.
