Meeting will be held on May 4-5 at the St. Louis Renaissance Airport under the sponsorship of the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association. This meeting will have nine invited talks on quantitative and molecular genetics. Please find registration information at http://www.uspoultry.org/educationprograms/.
Registration is FREE for undergraduate and graduate students and it is an outstanding opportunity for networking with industry geneticists. Also all students can participate a poster competition with cash prizes of $1,000 (1st place), $750 (2nd place) and $500 (3rd place). In order to participate in this competition, any MSc and PhD student in animal or poultry genetics should submit an abstract of 350 words or less (excluding title, authors, and affiliation) by midnight EDT, April 12 to . Files should be in MS Word format and should not include any tables or figures. Fifteen abstracts will be selected by a panel to be presented at the meeting in the form of a poster competition on the evening of Thursday, May 4th.
