The 25th World’s Poultry Congress (WPC2016) will be held in Beijing, China during September 5-9, 2016. We are looking forward to your attending.

Call for Abstracts

Delegates interested in presenting an oral or poster presentation are encouraged to submit an abstract to share your research progress and new finding with peers, colleagues, researchers and industry specialists. Oral papers or posters should be original work that has not been accepted for publication in a journal. Authors should be aware of patent considerations before submitting abstracts for publication.

Topics of Abstract

Abstracts should be submitted under one of the following themes:

4. Biotechnology and Reproduction
5. Welfare and Behavior
6. Environment management
7. Waste Management
8. Housing Systems
9. Egg Quality and Safety
10. Meat Quality, Processing, and Safety
11. Incubation and Hatchery Management
12. Waterfowls
13. Turkey and Other Species
14. Small-scale Family Poultry Production
15. Economics and Marketing
16. Education and Extension

Abstract Preparation

All abstracts must be written in English. Abstract submission is from September 10th, 2015 to March 5th, 2016. The abstract must be submitted via the web site http://www.wpc2016.cn/ by March 5th, 2016. Abstracts not meeting this deadline will not be accepted. Detailed guideline for abstract submission has been attached.

Early Registration

We are trying our best to make it affordable for most WPSA members to attend the WPC2016. Registration fees for WPC2016 have been kept as low as possible, which include full access to a welcome reception, all scientific sessions, conference materials, lunches, and tea breaks.

*In order to help WPSA members from low income countries, we add a new category of Reduced Registration Fee ¥1,900 for WPSA members from low income countries who register WPC2016 by March 5th, 2016. The low income country list should refer to WPSA constitution and by-laws.
