Humane Society International (HSI) is one of the largest animal protection organizations in the world, working to protect all animals including wildlife, companion animals, animals in laboratories, and farm animals. Our farm animal protection division is in need of technical consultants to design both a large and small-scale cage-free egg production farm in Vietnam, and to provide guidance on cage-free layer management to local farmers. HSI is accepting applications from experts with demonstrated experience in 1) laying hen behaviour and welfare, 2) the design and construction of cage-free layer housing or animal housing design/building construction more broadly, and 3) disease management and veterinary care in tropical environments. Parties may apply as individuals, or as groups/teams.
