Poultry Eggs Flyer Pagina 1Burleigh Dodds Science Publishing is a new “climate-smart” publisher in agricultural science. We are building a collection of review chapters, each written by a leading expert, with a programme of forthcoming books due to start publishing in the next couple of months; you can read more here: www.bdspublishing.com

We will shortly be publishing new volumes covering poultry and eggs - Achieving sustainable production of poultry meat Vols 1-3 edited by Steven C Ricke, University of Arkansas, USA and Todd Applegate, University of Georgia, USA and Achieving sustainable production of eggs Vols 1-2 edited by Julie Roberts, University of New England, Australia. Vice-Presidents of the WPSA include the aforementioned Editor Julie Roberts and a contributor to Poultry Vol 2 – Prof. Bob Gous. In addition one of the contributors to Poultry Vol 1 Prof. Michael Grashorn is Secretary of the European Federation.

I’m sure the books will be of great interest to your members; perhaps we could work together to bring these important reference works to their attention whilst helping to promote your services and events.

Do you produce a member’s newsletter (print or email), in which you could mention our book, and / or could you include a link to our book on your website or in your social media activity? I would be happy to offer an exclusive discount to your members, and to donate some free copies (when published) for you to use as e.g. competition prizes, in return for your help in spreading the word about the book(s). We could also help to promote your association or any events you are hosting in a number of ways; on the Burleigh Dodds website, in our email newsletter and via social media, where we are active:

• Bespoke and strategic promotions for your association, events and other activities including:
 Social media support, promoting your event from our Twitter and LinkedIn accounts
 News item(s) on the news pages of our website
 Your event(s) featured as news on our home page
 Promotion in one of our weekly e-newsletters to key opinion leaders in the field

I’ve included some brief details about the book(s) below; please feel free to use the descriptive copy, and I’d be happy to supply a jacket image. A freely available chapter excerpt can be found here: Maintaining the health of laying hens: a practical approach - Richard M. Fulton, Michigan State University, USA, and we can also make the whole chapter freely available to your members when they sign up to our emailing list at the Burleigh Dodds website here.

I’d also be happy to discuss options for supplying you with sponsored copies of our book, to use in support of your own marketing activities; we can offer some very competitive rates for bulk purchases.

Attached are some further details about these new publications - feel free to share the pdf as appropriate and below are some brief details which can be circulated to your members:
