2018 wpsa lecture at psa smallOnce again the Canada and United States Branches provided for a stimulating WPSA Lecture at the Poultry Science Association (PSA) Meetings. This year PSA was held in San Antonio, Texas. Selected as the WPSA Lecturer was Dr R. Kleyn, SPESFEED (Pty) Ltd., Broederstroom, South Africa. When introduced, Dr Kleyn proudly said he has been a WPSA member since his student days. In his talk (The current state and future demands of the poultry industry: Will we meet our commitments) he presented a great deal of data on the challenges of feeding people and animals in the years to come. His comprehensive review included many personal experiences from the African continent. The ballroom was packed for his presentation and a good question and answer period followed. Congratulations to both Branches and their officers for another successful WPSA Lecture.
